I'm on a serious classic movie kick lately, and of course the indulgence isn't complete without my favorite iconic leading man: Cary Grant. You honestly can't beat the trifecta of greatness that is the cast of The Philadelphia Story (1940, also with Jimmy Stewart and Katharine Hepburn). And while Mr. Grant can certainly fill out the stoic thriller star role in Hitchcock staples To Catch a Thief (1957) and North by Northwest (1959), the true reason I like him so much is for his lighter screwball side, brought out in Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) and Bringing Up Baby (1938). Funny guys will always win my heart in the end. Updating my Netflix queue as I type...
