I think I switched quotations around eight times today. To be topical or not to be topical? That is the question.

Suffice it to say last week was (and continues to be) impossibly hard for many families here in Connecticut.

I'm thinking about them, and I'm sure you are, too. Have a good one...

 

A Studio in Manhattan

Dear Lonny, I aspirationally die for this beautiful Manhattan studio apartment.

The layout, the careful layering of furniture, accent pieces and personal touches... it's all just wonderful.

Have you heard? Do you care? Emerald has been declared Pantone's 2013 "color of the year." It just so happens to be my birthstone, and while generally green is no where near my favorite color (it reminds me of my K-12 hunter green school uniforms!) I'm learning to like it again as an adult. Perhaps this more refined jewel tone is just what the doctor ordered...

December Playlist

 

Oh hey there, it's that time again – time for a new playlist, that is. As is typical of my schizophrenic music taste, this December mix features new (to me) artist favorites and several seasonal staples.
